These days we focus on saving the environment, but how often this excludes consideration of the other creatures who share our world. In her paintings of animals Katherine places them in their natural environment, capturing their spirits as they go about their daily lives. Her landscape painting shows mood and atmosphere through her subtle use of colour, distance and light, and demonstrates her love for painting skies.
